Apostilles, not embassy visits

The US and China are both in the Apostille Convention, so no Chinese consulate legalization is needed. Your Secretary of State apostilles state documents like a Certificate of Good Standing; the US Department of State handles federal ones.

02 / OWNERSHIP

Your LLC or C-corp can own it

Own the China company yourself or through your US entity, such as a Delaware C-corp or Wyoming LLC. We help you compare the options and prepare the shareholder documents China requires.

03 / US TAX

IRS filings to plan for

US owners often need Form 5471, plus FBAR and Form 8938 for foreign bank accounts. The US–China tax treaty generally caps dividend withholding at 10%. We keep your China books ready for your CPA.

04 / COMPLIANCE

US outbound investment rules

Since January 2025, US Treasury rules cover certain US investments in Chinese semiconductor, quantum and AI businesses. Most trading, sourcing and service companies aren't affected; if yours might be, check with US counsel.
